Buoyed by a robust U.S. dollar and a strong stock market, Americans are heading to Europe, eying both longtime favorites and lesser-visited countries. Below, the most popular overall spring break destinations, the top ten spots in the U.S., and the Virtuoso Hot 10 – on-the-rise locales based on year-over-year booking increases.

The U.S. has an abundance of warm, family-oriented destinations (see the top ten list below) for American travelers who want something close to home.
