Virtuoso’s new hotel booking tool is now live, and we’re very, very excited (and yes, biased). We’ve long advocated for the benefits of booking with a Virtuoso travel advisor but even advisors have to sleep sometimes. Our new booking tool neatly combines technological ease and human connection.
We do want that human connection – but an easy, reliable way to book things when we need to, from our lunch breaks to an unexpected bout of insomnia at 3am.
You can now book Virtuoso hotels, get all the perks, and send it to your advisor (or find an advisor) for servicing your booking, 24 hours a day. Don’t worry, you’re not “bugging” the advisor, even if you’re just booking a quick stay. Our advisors can help with any trip, near or far, big or small.
Shop the world – and filter it.
When you shop for shoes, you filter by type – boots, sandals, or heels to start. With Virtuoso hotels, you can filter by location, of course, but also experience – adventure, city life, wellness, seclusion, beach, and more. Or pick your vibe – sophisticated, casual, zen, hip. Plus, filter by price point and type of room. The world starts to feel more accessible, personal, and inspiring.
All Virtuoso Hotels & Resorts are vetted.
With a network of more than 1,200 properties around the world, you will likely find a Virtuoso hotel where you want to go. Most importantly, they have all been curated and approved by our specialized team of advisors and hotel experts. No hotel comes into the network without significant vetting and an application process. Only 7 percent of hotels that inquire about membership are admitted into the network.
You get all of the Virtuoso perks when you book through us.
And there are many. A Virtuoso traveler is an automatic VIP, given our global reach and relationships around the globe. Hotels offer complimentary Wifi, early check-in/check-out, and upgrades on arrival if available. Here are more sample perks:
- At Sunset Key Guest Cottages – a dreamy retreat in Key West, Florida – Virtuoso guests receive a daily breakfast credit of $60 for two people, plus a $100 hotel credit to be utilized during the stay (a great reason to book a spa treatment!).
- At Rosewood Mayakoba in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, Virtuoso guests receive daily breakfast and a $100 spa credit.
- At The Ritz Paris, recently renovated to major acclaim, Virtuoso guests get breakfast for two daily, and round-trip private airport transfer with VIP meet and greet at the airport.
You get optional assistance if you’re not already working with an advisor.
Never thought about or gotten around to working with a travel advisor? That’s totally fine. When you book a hotel through Virtuoso, you’ll be connected with a travel advisor for optional assistance. They can put personal touches on the trip (like hiring the best tour guides or making restaurant reservations), or booking any of the logistics, such as airport transfers and rental cars.
While planning travel, you flip through travel magazines (such as the current issue of Virtuoso Life) and review endless online sites for recommendations. But the Internet can feel so overwhelming – a glut of information, untrusted sources telling you what to do and where to go, and millions of ways to book a trip. We hope you will have fun searching our collection of vetted hotels around the world – and easily book your next stay, with the help of a trusted travel advisor.
The hotel booking tool is available to consumers in the U.S. and Canada for now.
