A trio of urban experiences getting us excited for the months ahead.
Rooftop Apertivos in Rome
Come for the views, stay for everything else. Rocco Forte’s newest property, the 104-room Hotel de la Ville, opened in May in a restored eighteenth-century palazzo perched atop the Spanish Steps. Its chic rooftop bar is attracting hotel guests and locals, but for your own private space with equally Instagram-worthy vistas, book one of the three signature suites, which come with their own stocked bars and optional butler service. For all guests, a dedicated concierge is on hand to help craft personalized and exclusive only-in-Rome experiences, from a visit to Princess Isabelle’s private apartment in the Palazzo Colonna to a behind-the-scenes tour of a local perfumery. Virtuoso travelers receive breakfast daily and a $100 hotel credit.
Vroom Vroom in Miami
A new partnership between the 169-room Faena Hotel Miami Beach and Alfa Romeo puts guests behind the wheel of a Stelvio or Giulia Quadrifoglio. The complimentary perk is officially our new favorite way to cruise down Ocean Drive. Virtuoso travelers receive a welcome drink, breakfast daily, and a $100 hotel credit. Alfa Romeo experience available upon request.
NYC’s New Wellness Getaway
A highlight of Manhattan’s long-awaited Hudson Yards development: Equinox Hotel, New York City, the first foray into hospitality from the global fitness brand. The 212-room hotel will redefine wellness on the go when it opens in July – guests have access to a 60,000-square-foot Equinox Fitness Club and Spa, plus a SoulCycle studio, indoor and outdoor pools, and a new dining concept from James Beard Award-winning restaurateur Stephen Starr. Of course, a welcoming place to sleep is a priority: Rooms feature Coco-Mat fiber mattresses, blackout window systems, and minibars stocked with healthy snacks and CBD beauty products. Virtuoso travelers receive an upgrade (if available) at time of booking, breakfast daily, and a $100 hotel credit.
